We liked this place, it's good small and really pretty. All of the hotel's staff are very amiable. The breakfast is great with variety of things to eat and drink. Thank you for a very lovely stay...

Besides, the location was best possible and prime for our stay, within 10 minutes' walk of Reagan Ranch Center. Besides, it was just next door to the boardwalk, the beach, and eating places.

Great stay, as always. Boutique hotel in a pretty nice area adjacent to the beach and State St and State Street and shops. Incredible and ideal location, within walking distance of everywhere. The rooms with 1 bed.

Particularly good views, truly enjoyed marvellous and amazing setting.
The time I spent there was delightful! The staff were nice and courteous, as I could only expect. The room was functional and completely renovated, offered a kitchen area and a balcony.

Villa Rose Inn was very close to the pier and beach. A brief walk to State Street and all the shops. Resturants along the beach very close. Breakfast was nice touch. Staff was pleasant.
A bit high priced for what you received. Needs some work in the rooms. Shutters broken, bathroom door would not shut all the way closed, mixed decor in the room. Santa Barbara can get away with charging that much, same hotel away from the beach price would be $49.00

Fine care staff, especially the new employee Camila

We booked for 3 nights but only stayed the required 1. The room we were offered at firstwas disgaceful for the money. It smelled and had no door to the 'en suite' facilities.
The hotel did not suit our needs and was grossly over priced.

Only real positive aspect is the location. Staff is ok, but the hotel I found it very poor.
The hotel outside and especially inside looks fatiscent; old roooms, looking very poor, no feeling of clean environment, very little WC, very small swimming pool. Would be worth only if you pay no more than 80-100 USD for a double. Very simple breakfast and simple cocktail do not add much.

Location was excellent - easy walk to beach/restaurants and shuttle to State St. Shopping (or walk).
Had an exterior facing room and it seemed a little noisy. Bathroom was very small.

This place is just an appropriate option for a flying visit in Santa Barbara with good price-quality ratio. The pool was horrible, dirty, and had a broken-down swan swimming in it that really stuck out. Just be careful with your expectations when you arrive.

The amenities were great. Breakfast, wine and cheese.
The cleaning staff didn't seem to keep the kitchen area very clean or make the beds right.
